Incumbent mayor
Elected mayor in the June 2024 by-election after serving as councillor for Ward 5 (2014–2024) and Ward 6 (2006–2010), and as MP for Mississauga—Erindale (1993–2006). Seeking her first full term.
Former mayor, 2014–2024
Mayor of Mississauga for a decade before resigning to lead the Ontario Liberal Party (2023–2026). Previously MP for Mississauga—Streetsville and Ward 5 councillor. Returning to municipal politics for this race.
Ward 7 councillor
City councillor for Ward 7 since 2018 and a former MPP for Mississauga East—Cooksville (2011–2018). Placed third in the 2024 mayoral by-election.
Ward 2 councillor
First-term councillor for Ward 2, elected in 2022, and runner-up to Carolyn Parrish in the 2024 mayoral by-election. Giving up his council seat to run citywide.
Fourteen candidates were certified for mayor by the City Clerk. George Tavares, Rahul Mehta, Olivia Gannon and Zulfiqar Ali withdrew from the mayoral race; three are now running for council seats.

You must be 18+, a Canadian citizen, and a resident or property owner/tenant in Mississauga. Confirm or add your name through the City's voter lookup before September.
Mississauga has 11 wards. Your voter information card lists your assigned voting location; advance polls are open citywide to any Mississauga elector.
Bring one piece of ID showing your name and Mississauga address — driver's licence, utility bill, lease, bank statement or property tax bill all qualify.
Ontario law entitles eligible voters to three consecutive hours to vote on election day. Employers must accommodate the time, though they choose when.
